1 May 2004:

Summer School (1987) (one of my all-time favorites) is finally being released on Region 1 US DVD from Paramount Home Video on 1 June 2004. No DVD extras, just anamorphic widescreen presentation and 5.1 stereo sound (theatrical release had a flat mono mix). Not bad for US$15.

The 1999 film "A Slipping Down Life" featuring Shawnee is released in New York and Los Angeles on 14 May and select cities in June, according to the official website here.

The 3 May 2004 issue of Australian People Magazine features a multi-page article and provocative centerfold poster of Shawnee. For your enjoyment, I have added scans of the article here.  (Thanks to Don Gough for contributing the scans).

The May 2004 issue of Jane magazine features a one-page b/w photo from the upcoming film release "SAW", featuring Shawnee Smith about to hit Danny Glover with a pair of brass knuckles.
